Floriaan Ganzevoort is a lighting designer for theatre, music, dance and spaces of all kinds. He graduated Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam on the subject 'Light as a dramaturgical means'. From 2000 on Floriaan makes lighting designs for different companies. Because of his dramaturgical background the light that he design is always strongly connected to the contents of the piece. Floriaan specializes in the consecution of images and the timing thereof.

During his study he started to work for modern dance company Emio Greco|PC as technical coordinator. For this company he did technical production and worked as sound and light operator in national and international tours. He also made lighting designs for the company.

As a lighting designer Floriaan worked with: The Dutch National Opera, De Nationale Reisopera, Springdance Festival, Toneelmakerij, Anouk van Dijk | DC, Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, Merlijn Twaalfhoven and The Asko|Schönberg Ensemble.
