Memorial concert in Amsterdam

After the annual memorial for the victims of the second world war at Damsquare in Amsterdam there was a memorial concert in the Concertgebouw. This year Zapp4 and the Mondriaal Quartet played a special program in the hall. Actor and director Paul Feld read the texts in between the pieces. The light design for this evening was made by Floriaan Ganzevoort.

In the light the the evening s theme was reflected. By projecting abstract lines on the organ and by letting these lines change position ever so slightly in the rhythm of the music the train tracks from the piece of Jasper LeClerq and Steve Reich were suggested by light.
