In the entry hall of the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ, Hillary Blake-Firestone gave a performance of ‘Duivelsdans III – divertissement for a certain space’ by Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt. She was accompanied on the piano by Ivo Jansen. The work was initally created as a location specific performance, touring cathedrals in the Netherlands in 2007.
Floriaan Ganzevoort reorked the lighting plot to accomodate the oddly shaped space of the entry hall.
