Benno Barends

Benno Barends creates lighting design for musicals, theater and dance. Recently Benno expanded his field of work to include museum lighting.
He deepened his skills as a designer at the Lighting Design Academy, having first worked as a technician and technical producer for numerous productions.

He recently made lighting designs for Opus One, Theatergroep Aluin/Raymi Sambo Speelt and worked as an assistant lighting designer for the Concertgebouw Orchestra, De Doelen Rotterdam and the Kunstmuseum Den Haag.
