Susies Haarlok plays 'The man that took of his head'

Music theatre performance in which we encounter a certain Anton D. at the height of his nihilistic existence. His body decides to take his head off and leg it. There’s an absurdist quest of the head to the body.
The story in this play is mainly told with “comic strips” which are animated live using overhead projectors. The set consists of floodlights and light bulbs. Also slide projectors act as light source.

For this production Maarten Warmerdam did the lighting design as well as operations. The light has been integrated with the scenery design in close collaboration with designer Maarten Kastelijns.
