Teemu Mttnen is a lightdesigner working in the field of performing arts. He has done work as a freelancer for dance and theatre as well as independent installation work. It’s this installation work that is very interesting.
He makes light art that is not a piece of art that emits light, but he constructs his work by throwing light at it, as we do in theatre lighting.
At the moment he’s involveld in the research project Video in TheatreĀ for the Centre for Practise as Research in Theatre in Finland.
